A Daennosi curse or violent oath. Taken from Amriat, the name of the Cainite in the First City who forced Daenna, the mother of all Daennos to abandon her husband and home.

A member of the Anarch Movement or simply a Cainite who opposes the tyranny of the elders.

Ad-hoc groups of Cainites, that refuse to join a particular sect, and so establish an anarch state in their domain. In reality they fall under the purview of the Camarilla.

Areas of a city unfit for life, ie. graveyards, abandoned buildings, industrial zones etc.

A Daennosi expression for "good luck".
Beast, The
The Beast is within every Cainite, hungry for blood, and Cainites must wrestle with their Beast nightly. Provoked too far, the Beast will induce Frenzy.
Becoming, The
The moment a Cainite crosses over from being a fledging to a neonate, when their Sire deems them ready and the domain's ruler approves. It is also known as the Change
Bishop
Servants of a domain's Archbishop, they are either in charge of a specific aspect of Cainite life, or are a more general spiritual leader. Some Sabbat domains have councils of Bishops instead of Archbishops.
Black Hand, The
A faction within the Sabbat and a mistaken misnomer for the Sabbat as a whole, used by the Camarilla.
Blister
A Cainite who has contracted a mortal disease and spreads it every time they feed.
Blood
A Cainite's heritage.
Blood Bond
Once a Cainite's blood has been drunk three times, the one who drank becomes enslaved to the Cainite's will. It works on both humans and Cainites.
Blood Doll
A mortal who freely gives their blood to a Cainite, some gaining a perverse satisfaction from it, even actively seeking Cainites out.
Bloodline
A Cainite's heritage or a pedigree of Cainites similar to a clan but who cannot trace their creation back to the Third Generation.

Essentially, the Cainite bible, it chronicles the story of Caine, the first of their kind, after he was turned into a Cainite. Only fragments remain, more myth than fact.

An elder Cainite term for a Cainite who feeds from derelicts and other low hanging fruit in society. They may not have permenant havens.
Fortitude
A Cainite Discipline that provides a supernatural toughness, to the point of resisting fire and sunlight.
Frenzy
When a Cainite loses control and the Beast takes over, a complete state of animal ferocity and madness.
Gaje
A non-Daennosi human.
Gangrel, The
A beastial Cainite clan, that prefers the wilds over cities.
Garou, The
A sub-species of the Fera, they are otherwise known as werewolves, shapeshifting into the forms of wolves.
Gehenna
The Cainite belief in the end of days, when the first generations of Cainites will rise again and devour their kind.

Usually used to refer to how far removed a Cainite is from Caine himself, by number of generations, with Cainites growing weaker with each higher generation.

An insular Cainite clan who practice necromancy and have a talent for global finances.
Golconda
A mythic state of being for Cainites, those who have achieved Golconda are said to no longer need to feed, having vanished their Beast and it's hunger.

Haven

Inner Circle, The
Each clan within the Camarilla has a member on the Inner Circle (usually the clan leader), where they meet once every thirteen years to guide the Camarilla's future.

The war humans waged on vampires in the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth century.

A Cainite nickname for the Camarilla.

This honorific title of the Camarilla is given to those charged with upholding the customs of Elysium, taking care of the sites for their Princes.

Meaning Cainite, this term is typically preferred by those belonging to the Camarilla, as a sign of fellowship.

A contemptuous Cainite term for mortals, with the term "kindred and kine" referring to the world at large, ie. everything.
